North Chico Rental Housing
Chico's North campus, also known as “The Avenues” is typically identified by neighborhoods bordered by North Cedar, the Esplanade, and W. Sacramento and 8th Avenue. You will find that rental homes in this more traditional Chico neighborhood typically have slightly lower rents than the rates in the south campus neighborhood due to the lack of shopping, services and entertainment. These traditional “old Chico” style neighborhoods are as close, and in some cases closer to the California State University, Chico campus than rental housing in the south and west campus neighborhoods. Public transportation including “The B Line” and the Butte College bus system are readily accessible in this neighborhood.
